We are so much more than 1s and 0s. Yet this is how machines view us. They categorise, label and reduce us to data which in turn may negatively affect our lives. This process of digital dehumanisation can have harmful consequences for us all, particularly those from historically marginalised or vulnerable communities. No one should be made to feel less than human, especially by a machine.

Throughout this exhibition, we explore ways in which automated decision making impacts our lives.

This isn’t an imagined future. It’s happening today. And we can change it.
